These are the nominations for the temporary committee of a new Residents Associations called A Better Arlington.
The people listed below are part of the group that has come together to get the Association restarted - a mixture of Leaseholders and Tenants. We intend to divide up the formal roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer between us, with two people sharing most roles. We also like the idea that these roles rotate every year.
We welcome others to join us.
I’ve lived in Arlington house for over 3 years.
I have a passion to help others within the community. I have work with a few other charities and have been an advocate for mental health programs at the local university.
I am a qualified architect and have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. I live permanently in the building and have been on two other residents associations in the past.
I am a freelance artist, having spent over 25 years in communications and PR with architects.
I have run a non profit organisation for 15 years, so have some managerial experience. I am also chair of two other charities. I have lived in Arlington part time for 2 years and full time for the past year.

My wife and I have lived in Arlington House since January 2019. The previous 20 years we spent living and working in France where we had a cafe and art gallery. I trained and qualified as an accountant and worked as such for 15 years before leaving to become more practically involved in house restoration.
